Welcome to the Fun ZoneMy Pilot Journey
Look up over Seattle. I’m learning to be MORE fly.
Some dreams stay with you through every season of becoming. For me, flying is one of them.
My journey began in 2021 with a discovery flight—and I brought my then-boyfriend, now fiancé, along on our third date! What a way to get to know each other. A little adventure, a little courage, and a view of what could be possible. We had so much fun.
My family has believed in me along the way, even as life has grown fuller and the path has taken time. Now, in 2026, I’m continuing that dream: training in a Cessna 150 and working toward becoming a private pilot.
A big dream in a full life.
I’m a mother, entrepreneur, storyteller, and television host, balancing full-time work, brand deals, family, and the responsibilities that keep life moving.
Adding flight training to that mix is complicated. There are lessons to coordinate, expenses to plan for, and studying to fit into days that already feel full. Aviation brings an entirely new language—and asks for focus, preparation, patience, and the courage to keep asking questions.
Some days, progress looks like a takeoff. Other days, it’s understanding a weather report, reviewing a checklist, or opening my study materials after a long day.
All of it is part of becoming a pilot.
Five years after that first discovery flight, I’m still reaching for the sky. There’s something beautiful about that: a dream can grow with you. You can return to it with more life behind you, more purpose within you, and a deeper appreciation for the opportunity ahead.
I want my children to see their mother learning something extraordinary. To know that we can keep discovering new parts of ourselves, ask for help, and give our dreams the time and effort they deserve.
Thank you for believing in me.
To my family, my fiancé, and everyone cheering me on: thank you for seeing this possibility with me.
Every word of encouragement, shared resource, introduction, and answered question helps me move forward. I’m grateful for the people who make this journey feel supported—and for everyone celebrating each little milestone alongside me.
If you’d like to contribute to my training, my Amazon list includes supplies and learning tools that will help along the way. You’re welcome to choose an item, and your encouragement means so much, too.

It started with a discovery flight in 2021. In 2026, the story continues. Look up over Seattle—there’s so much sky ahead.
